Aron’s project, the Forklift ‘Bucket Bagger’, supports agricultural and construction work and is placed on the front of a forklift to fill bulk bags. Previously, no such bucket existed for forklifts other than those for teleporters, which were unsuitable for use. They also limited the driver’s visibility. Aron and his innovative product tackled these issues and the ‘Bucket Bagger’ is currently used by RDC Contracts in Kildare.

Sponsored by Siemens, the awards focus on showcasing innovation excellence among Ireland’s third-level engineering students.
