Carlow Town 0-16
Naomh Bríd 2-8
NAOMH Bríd started best in this Bolger Shield final in the Training Centre last Tuesday when Luke Kelly scored a point and Tommy Dunne followed up with a goal. Carlow Town settled and with Cian Clancy on fire in the forward line and the English brothers, Barry and Karol, a steadying influence they got back into the game.
It was tight from there with Eanna Holland scoring two points in each half to go with Naomh Bríd’s goal in the second half scored by Aaron Amond.
The Oak Park side kept their composure and slowly but surely, by taking their points, they got on top to take the silverware which will surely act as some sort of consolation having lost their recent Leinster league final.
