THERE were some vintage dance moves to go along with the cars when the annual Tullow Vintage Club annual show took place in Rathwood recently. There were over 200 exhibitors of vintage vehicles, many coming from all over Leinster and even as far as Cavan. There was plenty to see and do at the show, with some people boogying to Dancing with Declan.
“It went very well,” said club member Marie Cosgrove. “The weather wasn’t great, but the crowds turned out just the same.”
The show has been popular over the years as it is a venue that provides something for everyone with the award-winning home and garden centre, the Rathwood train, children’s play area including a maze and woodland walks.
There was a strong representation from the Tullow club, with around 40 exhibitors.
Donations were taken for the Tullow Community First Responders.
Tullow club members will be exhibiting in other shows during the summer, while they will be also heading to the Sonas Nursing Home in Tullow to put on a display for residents in the near future.
