The people of Tullow are taking up the challenge to raise funds for Pieta House this weekend with a three-day virtual event which will encourage participants to get out, get active and donate to the worthy cause.

Organised by St Patrick’s GAA club, the fundraiser is for all ages with the aim of promoting positive mental health.

Funds raised will be used to paint a large mental health logo at Br Leo Park and to donate to the great work being done by Pieta House.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, people are asked to run, walk or cycle on a route of their choice

“People can do it at home, go for a walk with the kids, go for a run, there are loads of options to be creative and do what they want, within the government guidelines,” says Padraig Murphy from St Patrick’s.

See the club’s facebook page for more information and follow the link HERE to make a donation.
