RIP

 

Edward (Eddie) Kinsella

Kilcarrig, and formerly of Bachelors’ Walk, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow on 22 February 2021 (Peacefully) in the kind and gentle care of the Staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny following a brief illness. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Mary Josephine (Kinsella), sisters Maureen (Killeen), Kathleen (Kay Power), Philomina (Phil Scanlan) and Bernadette (Bernie Walsh), brothers Tom and Patrick (Pat). Eddie will be deeply missed by his wife Anne, son Thomas, daughters Marita, Edwina and Michelin, granddaughter Lua, sons-in-law, extended family and many friends.

Eddie’s private family Funeral Mass will take place in St. Andrew’s Church, Bagenalstown on Wednesday 24 February 2021at 1pm, followed by burial in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown.

In compliance with current funeral regulations, the limit of 10 people will be observed. In the interests of everyone’s health and safety, please ensure that social distancing and public health advice is followed.

Charlie Dempsey

38 New Oak Estate, Carlow and formerly of Killeen, Maganey, Co Laois, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on 20 February 2021, at his home.

Beloved husband of the late Bernedette (Ber), much loved father of Keith, Brian, Mark and Enda, adored grandfather of Aaron, Lorcan, Nancy, Jack and Ella, and cherished brother of Maura, Liam and the late Carmel.

He will be sadly missed by his loving sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brother, sister, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousin, relatives and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral will take place for family in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, on Wednesday at 11am and will be followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

If neighbours wish to show their support to the family, they could stand outside their houses (while adhering to social distancing guidelines) as the funeral cortége leaves his residence on the way to the church at 10.30am approx.
