A whole host of Carlow sporting personalities have thrown their weight between Carlow GAA’s latest fundraiser – “The Barrowside Challenge”. This is a brand new fundraiser between Carlow GAA and the clubs around the county and all proceeds will be split 50/50.

Rugby star Sean O’Brien, jockey Patrick Mullins, former TD Pat Deering, commentator Brendan Hennessy, former Kilkenny hurling star and current Ballinkillen manager Eoin Larkin and a number of current and former Carlow GAA stars are among those will walk 5km over the June Bank Holiday to support their club and county.

Full details of all those participating can be found at www.clubcarlow.ie/sponsoring.

All you need to do is pick the participant that you wish you sponsor and whatever donation you make will be split evenly between your club and county.

Carlow GAA is a small but mighty county and is always at its best when everybody is pulling together. This new fundraiser gives you the opportunity to support your club and county all at once.
