Peacefully at his home in Hanwell , London surrounded by his family, formerly of Killoughternane, Corries. Beloved husband of Mary and devoted father to James, he will be sadly missed by them and by his many close cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Joyce’s Funeral Home, Borris, on Friday, 15th of October, from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Lazerian’s Church, Ballinkillen, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Saturday, followed by burial in Rathanna Cemetery.

Due to Covid regulations, the funeral home and funeral Mass are restricted to 50% capacity, please also wear face covering.

60 Askea Lawns, Tullow Road, Carlow, passed away peacefully, on 12 October, 2021, at St Luke’s Hospital. Kilkenny.

(Peacefully) in her 100th year, in the wonderful care of the management and staff of Beechwood Nursing Home Leighlinbridge, she will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, Gertie will be very fondly remembered by her grandnephew, grandniece, and her many friends.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown on Wednesday afternoon from 4.oc to 8.oc. Removal on Thursday morning arriving at St. Andrew’s Church, Bagenalstown for Funeral Mass at 11oc, Burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown. The Capacity of St. Andrew’s Church is limited to 50%, But can be viewed on www.bagenalstownparish.ie

 

Kathleen Lacey, nee Byrne

New York, USA and originally The Numbers, Graiguecullen, Carlow, October 9th 2021 in New York. Treasured wife of Mick, and dear mother of Margaret, Michael, Marie and Karen. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, 7 grandchildren, 8 brothers, 1 sister, 3 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother Dick Byrne.

Remembered with great love and mourned with great sadness by the Lacey, Hennessy and Murphy families, Carlow.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church, Kings Park on Wednesday, October 13th at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Road, Smithtown, NY 11787.
