EXCITEMENT is building for a family fun walk in aid of Drumphea National School this Saturday morning, 28 May, in the beautiful surrounds of Mount Leinster.
The walk makes a very welcome return following the pandemic and has been organised by the parents’ association of the school. The entire community is expected to be out in force to take in the fresh air and lend their support.
The walk begins at 11am at the Nine Stones and finishes at Drumphea NS. A bake sale will also take place afterwards, along with refreshments in Drumphea school hall. All are welcome.
