Fire Services are currently dealing with a significant fire at the Oglesby and Butler premises on Carlow’s O’Brien Road. The county council has advised that residents should keep their windows closed and said that there may be water pressure issues in the town as water services divert more water to this area to fight the fire.

Traffic delays have also begun to develop in the area and diversions are being put in place to alleviate delays.
