There has been a call for owners of unoccupied properties in Carlow to offer them as accommodation to Ukrainian refugees.

Carlow County Council tweeted they are looking for the properties to provide temporary accommodation.

A tax-free recognition payment of €800 per month is available. People interested in the scheme can go to offerahome.ie to offer a property.
