Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal workplace accident at a site in Killarney, Co. Kerry at approximately 8am yesterday, Monday 16 January 2023.

A man in his 50s was conveyed to Cork University Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained as a result of this incident. He later passed away from his injuries.

The Health and Safety Authority have since been notified.
