Mattie Cowman passed away peacefully on Sunday, 12th March, 2023, at his home in Donore, surrounded by his adoring family. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret, his brothers Noel and Mike and his sister Maureen. Cherished father of Emer, Fergal, Eoin, Gránia and Conor. Beloved grandfather to Jack, Ella, Caragh, Ollie, Croíadh, Síofra, Orry, Eoghan, Matthew and Emma. He will be sadly missed by his adored daughters-in-law Andrea, Laura, Ciara, sons-in-law Brian and Dave, brothers Tom, Johnny, Paul, Pakie, Jimmy, Andy, Joe and his sister Ann, extended family, neighbours and friends. Mattie will be deeply missed by his great neighbours Breda and Gerry, to whom the family will be forever grateful and also his good friends Tom and Breda McDonald and Tom and Fidelus.

Reposing at his residence in Donore (R21 YV07) from 12pm to 8pm on Tuesday, 14th March, with funeral prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Wednesday, 15th March, at 10.45am to arrive at St. Andrew’s Church,Bagenalstown,for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown.

March 12th 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of the late Benny and dear mother of Caroline, Fiona, William, Isobelle and Audrey. Sadly missed by her loving son, daughters, brother Arthur, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren Darren, Éoin, Kate, Aoíse, Noah and Jayden, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her daughter Audrey’s home (Eircode R93N9F3) on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, March 16th, in St. Laserian’s Cathedral, Old Leighlin, time to be confirmed on Tuesday evening. Burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
The Service will be recorded and a link will be posted when available on Thursday evening.

William Brogan, passed away (Peacefully) in Bagenalstown 12th of March 2023. Formerly of Walkerville, South Africa. Beloved husband of Mary, and father of Dermot, Carla, Tracey, David, Fergus and Conor. Proud grandfather to Shannon, Lochlain, Calum, Neve, Imogen and Elia. Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Tessa, Shelley and Ines, son-in-law Denis, his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.

Reposing at S. Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown, Friday 17th March, 4pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow on Saturday morning at 10.am, followed by burial in St. Lazerian’s Cemetery, Leighlinbridge.
