PADRAIG Amond’s first season with National League team Woking ultimately ended in disappointment when they were beaten in the Play-Off eliminators by Bromley but his efforts of the course of the season have been recognised by the club’s supporters after they picked him as their Player of the Season.

Amond played in the first 45 league games of the season for the club and was only rested on the final day of the season after Woking’s place in the Play-Off Eliminator was already secured. He scored 12 goals in the process.

Wherever he has gone on his long winding career, he passed 700 professional appearances during the season, Amond’s hard working attitude, not to mention his talent and his eye for goal, has endured him to supporters everywhere and obviously Woking are no different.
